Class Descriptions


​Flow is a vinyasa fusion class; vinyasa means to move with the breath. The focus is on mindfulness through flow, movement and balance. It improves flexibility and inner and outer strength. The class consists of sun salutations, standing postures, arm balances, core strengthening, backbends, hip openers, inversions, twists and restorative postures. Expect a cardio workout and fun practice that will leave you feeling energized and balanced. Modifications are made for beginner and advanced students.


Power is a Flow class designed to challenge your body, mind, and spirt! Instructors may speed it up, incorporate longer holds, weights, or advanced poses. Please see the above description of Flow!


Yin at Kom is taught as a yin fusion taking a contemporary approach with the benefits of a deep stretch as the focus and not necessarily the tradition. Poses are done mostly while sitting on your mat and they are held for longer periods of time. This results in a deep stretch designed to release tension and calm the nervous system. It is the balance to your yang yoga practice. Students stretch the deep connective tissues of the body, open joints, and restore alignment. It is beneficial for everyone. Those recovering from injury or trauma and athletes who need a therapeutic stretch will love this class. The added benefit of the infrared heat allows you to stretch further and open up the body more comfortably and with ease, leaving you feeling like you have received a massage.


Restore is a Restorative Flow class which is a gentle and meditative flow of slow, relaxing and rocking movements that effortlessly flow together. Soothing music and restorative postures create a rich and nourishing experience, balancing the nervous system and renewing to a calm yet energized state. 


If you feel you've hit a plateau in your practice or physical growth, Yoga Sculpt will help launch you past it. Still a fluid vinyasa based practice, only with light free weights to build more strength, which means increased metabolism and extra calorie burning throughout the day, even at rest. Take your yoga and your body to the next level. Yoga Sculpt is all yoga levels friendly.


Barre is a unique, fun, high energy class that fuses legendary fitness techniques from Pilates, Dance, and Yoga with fat burning cardio intervals. This class uses light hand weights, resistance bands, and your own bodyweight to streamline, firm, tighten, and tone your entire body without adding bulk while creating balance, body awareness, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance

She explains it so perfectly that not only will you have an understanding of this beautiful practice but you will also gain insight on what makes yoga so amazing.


The climate in our yoga room is controlled with a state-of-the-art system combining infrared heat, humidity, and air purification to enhance your yoga experience. The temperature changes from season to season with the summers being cooler and the winters warmer.

Kom’s classes are for all levels, beginner to advanced, with instructors offering modifications. We keep the light dim for a moody effect that allows you to feel comfortable exploring new poses!
