Weekend Schedule:
Friday 6pm to 8pm
Saturday 8am to 4pm

Kom Yoga’s RYT200 Teacher Training led by Lindsey Argo will take you on a journey of the self, through the self, to the self as you discover the transformative power of Yoga! In this training you will explore classical Yoga texts and practices that enrich the mind, body, and soul. This knowledge and experience will provide you with all the tools necessary to build and support a thriving Yoga practice. Expect to be inspired through this process and leave with the ability to effectively guide others on their path of Yoga, allowing you to give back to your community!

This program is designed with a comprehensive and interactive approach that dives deep into classical Yoga traditions, modern Yoga research and applications, and helps the student develop techniques that can be employed to further the understanding of his/her own nature. The mission of this program is for you, as the student, to understand how to use Yoga in your life and how to inspire others to use it in their lives. You will learn how to properly structure classes and how to teach those classes in a manner that produces an experience we all need and desire.

The quality of a Yoga teacher training comes from how well-trained and experienced the lead trainer is, the lineage he/she comes from, and the desire of the trainer to continue to be a student above all. Lead Trainer, Lindsey Argo, has her E-RYT 200, RYT 500, and is a current Graduate student at Missouri State University studying South Asian Religions, Yoga, and Sanskrit. Lindsey was trained by Beth Spindler, E-RYT 500 and Registered Yoga Therapist, who trained with disciples of Swami Rama and directly with Eknath Easwaran tying her students to the Tantric Yoga lineage of Sri Vidya. Because of this, this training will emphasize Tantra and textual study. This training will also highlight current scholarly research dealing with Yoga as well as how Yoga is used to handle special populations. Other specialists will be brought in during the training to provide you with a 5 star experience.

This training meets and exceeds all the requirements put forth by the Yoga Alliance, the industry standard for Yoga teachers and schools. Upon completion of this program you will receive a RYT200 Yoga Teacher Training certificate.

Lindsey Argo, E-RYT200, RYT500, our Lead Trainer, has designed a Yoga series to help beginner students gain a better understanding of the practice of Yoga. Students will gain general Yoga knowledge, specific instruction of the physical and mental practices, and support and guidance as they begin their Yoga journey. Students can expect to leave feeling comfortable and confident stepping into a standard Yoga class after the completion of this series. 

This series also presents perspective Yoga students with the opportunity to introduce a new, positive practice into their lives as we begin the new year.

**What to expect in a Yoga class including its elements and structure.
**How a Yoga class is built including the mechanics and techniques of the practice. 
**The purpose of Yoga postures and the physical practice.
**How to properly use the breath and how the breath and the postures are tied to your energetic system.
**Common meditation techniques and how to practice them.
**The internal components of movement and how to listen to your body. 
**How to make intelligent adjustments guided by feeling the postures for yourself. 
**The connection of breath with movement.
**What it takes to keep up a regular practice.
**How to put it all together to learn more about yourself. 

Cost - $79 and includes 3 additional classes. If joining at a later date cost is prorated.
