Practice in the body you came with today. No one else lives in your body, no one else knows your limits or your edge. Don’t waste precious time comparing yourself to others. Be your beautiful self without apology

Cady O’Quinn

Cady ERYT-500,YACEP, was a reluctant yogi. As a lifetime runner, she knew "stretching" was important... so (almost 20 years ago) when her gym offered yoga classes, she took them because she knew she should. Yoga videos came next, because, even though she found it tedious, the movement helped. But then she took her first class in a true yoga studio and EVERYTHING changed. Life Changing. Hot Yoga was the physically hardest thing she'd ever done. Her yoga mat became a safe place to feel. She began dragging anyone was willing with her to class. When the opportunity to go through Teacher Training arrived, she leapt at the chance; yoga became her passion, and teaching yoga, her heart song. In 2016, Cady started her 500 hour RYT training with Emery Bryant. A couple of years later, Emery invited Cady to join her in leading trainings, and a new facet of yoga love was discovered. In Cady’s class you can expect to feel loved and cherished by her. Cady will meet you on your mat exactly where you are and make your experience delightful

Chelsea Dygert

Chelsea ERYT-500, YACEP, Y12SR, began yoga for the pretty poses and stayed for the emotional healing and honest soul work. She dove head first into her yoga journey with teacher training at Teach to Inspire in 2011. She continued her education through Emery Bryant’s Yoga school where she completed her ERYT-500 training. Continuing education is my jam (forever a student) and I have a deep love for people. One of my favorite things about yoga is the way it brings people and communities together and creates an energy of honest connection. I enjoy leading vinyasa flow as much as restorative classes and my goal is to create sequences that leave people feeling graceful, empowered and energized. Yoga is for EVERYbody at ANY level. If you have a body, yoga is for you!

Catherine Harvey

Catherine RYT-200, her yoga journey began several years ago, at Kom. She was not expecting to fall in love with yoga. Over the years her love of yoga deepened and her desire to share the joy she finds on her mat grew. Catherine’s hope is that students who attend her class feel safe to try new things, release worries about the outside world for a few minutes, and leave feeling refreshed and renewed in both body and mind. Her teaching style could be described as playful, creative, strong, and energetic—she leans primarily towards Vinyasa Flow, but also make a point to leave adequate time for meditation and rest. She encourages students to “make it your class and find what feels right for you!”.  Catherine is known for her positive attitude, creative movements, and the “self-care” vibe I aim to construct in each class. Whether it’s their 1st class or your 100th, she wants each student to feel empowered and encouraged to dive deeper into their own personal yoga journey.

Suzette Wingate

Suzette RYT-200, an Ozarks Native who loves the outdoors. When she is not on her mat you can find her outdoors hiking and enjoying the beauty of The Ozarks with her family and her doggo. She noticed a reprieve from physical and mental stressors of everyday life when she rolled out her mat. Over time her love of yoga grew along with her interest in the how and why of yoga, which created a great desire to share yoga and the benefits with others. Suzette hopes to encourge every yogi she leads to honor themselves in mind and body, and to apply what they learn on the mat to their daily lives.

For those who come to grow, the whole world is a garden. For those who have come to learn, the world is a University For those who have come to know God, the world is a prayermat.

Addie Gaines

Addie RYT 200-hr training was completed at Kom hot yoga in 2020, she immediately completed Kom Mentorship Program and began instructing as soon as she could. Addie is a natural teacher who brings life to all who set foot in her classes, she has quickly became a student favorite. Addies hope is that people find that my class feels like a safe place to explore their unique yoga journeys and they discover the opportunity for inquiry physically, mentally and emotionally through breath and movement. Her teaching style emerges from three words: journey, empower, and co-create. Each class is a journey, an exploration of a place, concept or idea, through guided imagery, breath, and movement. She encourages students to feel empowered to choose from offerings, to make modifications or find enhancements. The class that happens on each mat is unique, not just what she leads, but what yogis co-create. She believes that others are drawn to her as an instructor because her classes come from her heart and they are created as a gift for yogis. Yogis can take the gift and use it how they need and want on or off the mat. She loves when She sees students leave the room glistening, rosy-cheeked and with a peaceful smile after class.

Lacey Jasper RYT-200

Lacey ERYT-200, Yin Yoga 1&2 Certified, with a background in gymnastics and is a Health and Wellness Coach. Her fascination with the human body and how it moves and works began at an early age. She has always found the abilities of the human system to be very intriguing. What our bodies are capable of is truly amazing. When our minds and bodies work together the possibilities are endless. Lacey will bring you a playful and challenging practice centered around breath-work and pure joy. She found deep connection to her heart and spirit through her yoga practice and knew she had to share her experience with others. She is sure you will find connection and an appreciation for your body-mind-spirit with a richer life value when you choose to step on your mat. Healing and growth begin with internal work, the way we think and feel nourishes mind and body. She has learned a consistent practice is not only therapeutic but transformative. Laceys hope is that you too find a deeper connection through practice.

Chase & Lilly

Chase Black Lab

Lilly Black German Shepard

Chase & Lilly - (AKA Mr & Mrs Paws) - You may meet one of these two in studio on random days. They both enjoy going to “work” and greeting all their yoga friends. Chase began his practice at 10 weeks old and has continued a regular yoga practice. Lilly began her practice in October 2021 when she came home to Robby & Sherri as a 3 year old momma dog ready for a life of love and joy. They each bring their own special joy to Kom.

Robby & Sherri

Sherri was given the opportunity to lead the Komhotyoga family December 2019. This was the chance to follow a dream she did not even realize she had, creating a community. She took leadership of this amazing “KomUnity” March 2020, with Robby by her side encouraging every step. Robby began his yoga journey spring 2019, as a First Responder in a high stress career he soon learned yoga was the missing piece to his skillset. Yoga practice is not just stretching and relaxing, Yoga is building mindfulness and resilience. With yoga came important skills off mat. He found yoga teaches mastery of the mind and optimal functioning of the psychophysical system, building resilience and mindfulness to increase productivity both on and off the job. You can find him practicing in class multiple times a week and often bringing friends/workmates when he comes.

At Kom we strive to build “KomUnity”. Bringing like minded people who care for one another together. Our goal is to be a safe space for all and to facilitate connection of mind-body-spirit.

Grace & Peace,

Robby & Sherri
